North Salem Museum Plans Japanese Tea, Culture Event

Hammond Museum and Japanese Stroll Garden will host a tea and culture event on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 1-5 p.m. The benefit will provide an experience to highlight tea culture from the East that changed the scope of culture in the West. Participants will have the opportunity to observe a Japanese tea ceremony demonstrated in the main hall and learn about a variety of Asian teas and sample their tastes with the finest tea collections under the sponsorship of the Harney Tea Co.
