Hayley Hewitt of New Canaan, Conn., and her pony Splash of Color, or "Lexi," who train in North Salem, recently won the prestigious award of Horse of the Year in the Eastern States Exposition in the Children's Hunter-Pony Small/Medium division in West Springfield, Mass.
