Friends Of Karen Plans Golf Tournament In North Salem

The ninth annual Friends of Karen golf tournament in memory of Erin O'Connor will be played on Monday, July 20, at Salem Golf Club in North Salem. Eileen and Mike O'Connor initiated this event to honor their daughter Erin, a Friends of Karen child, who died of a brain tumor at the age of 13. North Salem Blood Drive Honors Steven Siciliano's Memory

The family and friends of Steven Siciliano are holding a blood drive in his memory on Sunday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the North Salem Volunteer Ambulance Corps building, 14 Daniel Road, just off Exit 8 on Interstate 684. Siciliano died June 10, 2010, from complications after a double lung transplant required to fight cystic fibrosis.

Elizabeth Casella, 86, Of North Salem

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. Elizabeth Casella, of North Salem, died on Monday, May 25, at Northern Westchester Hospital Center. She was 86. Casella was born on Aug. 17, 1928, to Paul and Elizabeth Scarcello in Eastchester, graduating from Eastchester High School and working at JFK High School in Somers.
