North Salem, NY, August 14, 2015 -- -- Friends of Karen, a charity that provides vital and comprehensive support to local families who are caring for a child battling cancer or another life-threatening illness, has received a $2,500 grant from KeyBank Foundation. The funding will be used in its Family Support Program, which ensures that each Friends of Karen family receives the emotional, financial and advocacy help they so desperately need to remain functioning and able to cope during a time of intense crisis.
