Lewisboro Offers Discounted Pool Rates To North Salem Residents
The North Salem family rate is $575 if registering between April 1 and May 31, and $625 beginning June 1. The rate for adults 16 and older is $375 between April 1 and May 31, or $425 starting on June 1. The rates for North Salem residents are still higher than for those of Lewisboro, but lower than what other nonresidents in the region pay. Lewisboro Town Pool is open daily from May 28 through Sept.

Two Charged In Underage Drinking Detail In Northern Westchester
New York State Police in Somers have charged two gas-station employees in an underage drinking enforcement operation in Northern Westchester County. Numerous retail establishments were checked throughout the Somers, North Salem, Lewisboro and Pound Ridge by utilizing a 19-year old volunteer to purchase alcohol under the observation of plainclothes investigators supported by uniformed troopers, police said.
