Rumors spread on the Internet about a threat to a student and a school in North Salem were false, school officials said this week. The postings spread fear among parents, students and school staff, according to an announcement Thursday by Patricia P. Cyganovich, principal of the middle and high schools, and Assistant Principal George Bovino.
