Friends of Karen, a non-profit with headquarters in North Salem which supports children with life-threatening illnesses and their families, earned the highest possible rating for the eighth straight year from Charity Navigator. Charity Navigator is the largest independent charity evaluator in the country, and awarded Friends of Karen its highest possible rating of 4-stars.
