Polar Vortex Returns This Week, But North Salem Should Be Spared

The much maligned "Polar Vortex" will once again drop into the United States in the coming week, creating frigid conditions and likely some record-low temperatures and wind chills for this time of year. The arctic blast is expected to dip into the northern plains and Great Lakes regions beginning Sunday, and last until Friday.
