New York State Police are still searching for one of two men who jumped out of a car after crashing and fled from North Salem Police near the Waccabuc Country Club, triggering a lockdown of schools in the Katonah-Lewisboro School District and setting residents on edge, according to state police. The incident began around 2:20 p.m. Wednesday, when the suspects crashed their vehicle following a pursuit from North Salem and jumped out and ran, said Trooper AJ Hicks, with the New York State Police.
