Former North Salem Supervisor Paul Greenwood was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Wednesday, Dec. 3 for his part in a large securities fraud scheme, according to LoHud.com. Federal guidelines had called for Greenwood to serve a much longer sentence, upwards of 80 years, but the former supervisor appealed to the courts to serve no more than five years in prison, LoHud.com reported.
