Republican challenger Lisa Douglas has defeated Democratic incumbent Councilman Martin Aronchick by just three votes, according to updated unofficial results from the Westchester County Board of Elections. If the numbers hold up for when the official results as certified by the county board, then North Salem's Republican slate will have swept the local races.
