NORTH SALEM An elderly woman found dead in her home was killed as a result of blunt force trauma, State Police said late Tuesday afternoon. Lois Colley, 83, was found dead in the laundry room of her home on Titicus Road in North Salem at about 5:20 p.m. on Monday, November 9. Colley was the wife of McDonald's franchise owner Eugene Colley and was well-known in the community.
